On November 7-8, 2024, Shanghai Chenzhu Instrument Co., Ltd., together with its strategic partner, the TÜV SÜD Plant Operational Safety Business Unit (hereinafter referred to as “TÜV SÜD”), jointly hosted the Certified Machinery Risk Evaluator (CMRE) Training Course at Shanghai Chenzhu’s headquarters. This course was designed to train electrical engineers and safety engineers from various industries, including petrochemicals, fine chemicals, heavy machinery, robotics, automotive equipment, and advanced welding.
The enthusiasm for expanding into international markets has fueled the rapid development of automation safety in China’s manufacturing industry. Europe's CE standards are globally recognized as the most rigorous and safety-focused regulations for production. As a manufacturing powerhouse, many traditional Chinese enterprises face challenges in mastering the core aspects of CE compliance. This course provided an in-depth analysis of the CE certification process, serving as an essential introduction to machinery compliance.
During this course, Shanghai Chenzhu showcased its milestone product—the CZSC Compact series safety controllers. Participants engaged in hands-on exercises by configuring a system combining safety inputs, safety controllers, and actuators. Additionally, they utilized the SISTEMA software to calculate the performance levels of safety circuits. Together with interactive case studies led by TÜV SÜD instructors, participants gained a clear understanding of the critical steps involved in the Machine Guarding 6 KPIs, equipping them with practical skills to enhance machinery safety and compliance.
